Three Men Arrested For 2015 Killing In Norristown: DA

Last April, a body was found at a gas station on Ridge Pike. Three more men have been arrested in connection with the killing.

NORRISTOWN, PA -- Three men have been arrested and charged with murder in connection with the killing of a man in Norristown in April of 2015, the Montgomery County District Attorney's Office said.

Kevin Slocum, 21, Terrell Slocum, 23 and Diandre Brown, age 22, were booked for the homicide of 30-year-old Keithon Majors, according to the DA.

At about 8:52 p.m on April 6, 2015, Norristown Police responded to reports to shots fired near 1200 Locust Street, according to the DA.

When they arrived they found glass in the streets but no sign of anyone involved in the shootings, the DA said.

About 10 minutes later at 9:03 pm., a Plymouth Township police officer found the victim, Majors, inside a vehicle at the Lukoil service station on 603 Ridge Pike, according to the DA.

Majors was taken to Mercy Suburban Hospital where he was pronounced dead at 10:37 p.m., the DA said.

One arrest in connection with this killing was made in June. Chad Jonathan Beringer was arrested and charged with Majors' murder.

His trial is scheduled to begin May 2, according to court documents.

It's not yet clear what inspired the killing.

The Slocums and Brown have a preliminary hearing set for March 28 at 9:30 a.m.
