Train, Sitting Still, Blares Horn Overnight In Upper Merion
Rough night for some residents in Upper Merion.

UPPER MERION, PA — It was a rough night to be an Upper Merion resident Sunday.
A freight train seemed to have some issues with its horn nearby, starting to blare at around 11 p.m., according to a report from 6ABC and local residents.
One resident live tweeted the whole event, giving a blow by blow from the first few minutes of the horn (sharing a gif of Oprah saying "I hear you") to Steve Carell shouting "I hear you" as it grew progressively worse.

All in all, the horn didn't stop until 2:30 a.m., some three and a half hours later.
It's not clear what the train was honking at as it sat still overnight Sunday.

6ABC reports the train belongs to Norfolk Southern. Patch has reached out to the company for more information.
Update to all my fortunate friends not in the area: train horn began at 11:30pm and ended at 2:21am, although I’m not sure the echoing in my ears will ever stop. Finally time to sleep pic.twitter.com/BFn0fRyRct
