The incident occurred while Hadrick was a patient at the Einstein Medical Center on West Germantown Pike, according to the DA's office.

Siuta had signed the "After Hours Sign-In Log" at the hospital at 11:49 p.m. on May 5, an investigation revealed. His arrival and departure eight minutes later were also captured on surveillance video. While inside Hadrick's room, he provided her with three bags of what he said was heroin, police said. It turned out to be Siuta's fifth visit to Hadrick's hospital room.

A nurse found Hadrick unresponsive hours later at 2:30 a.m. in the bathroom of her hospital room, the DA said. She was pronounced dead at 3:06 a.m.

An autopsy revealed Hadrick's cause of death as a fentanyl overdose, which is an opioid 50 times stronger than heroin.

Siuta faces up to 40 years in prison for his charges. He remains incarcerated at Montgomery County Correctional Facility.
