Two Men Shot Overnight In Norristown: Cops
Two men were shot overnight in Norristown, police said: breaking.

NORRISTOWN, PA — Two men were shot in overnight in Norristown, police said, in what appear to be two unrelated incidents.
The first incident occurred at 11:50 p.m. on Monday evening on the 1000 block of Powell Street, authorities said.
The victim, a 20-year-old black male, was walking down the street when multiple rounds were fired, according to police. One of the bullets hit the man in the thigh. Several others damaged cars nearby.

A witness gave first aid to the victim until first responders arrived, and the man was flown to Penn Presbyterian Hospital. He was treated for his injuries and released, police said.
The second incident occurred just hours later at around 3 a.m. on the 100 block of West Elm Street, according to authorities.

The victim, a 32-year-old black male, was visiting a friend when he was shot twice in the shin, police said.
He was driven to Einstein Montgomery Hospital by a friend, and later taken to Einstein Philadelphia, where he remained Tuesday in stable condition, police said.
Police are investigating these incidents. It is not yet clear if the victims were specifically targeted, or if these were accidental in nature.
