UPDATE: Image of Suspected Ridge PIke Armed Robber Released

Police have released an image from a security camera of the man they suspect in an armed robbery on Ridge Pike.

The man above is a white male, about 5 feet, 9 inches tall, wearing a dark jacket, dark knit mask, and purple medical gloves, Lower Providence police say.

The incident occurred at 9:12 p.m. at the Sunoco Mini-Mart on 2601 Ridge Pike in Trooper, according to authorities.

A white male suspect entered the store, pointed a gun at the head of the clerk, and demanded money from the registers, police said.

Once he received the money the man ran out of the store. He then got on a motorcycle that had been parked at Dell Angelo Park near Evans Road and fled the area, police said.

The man is about 5 feet, 9 inches tall with a thin build, police said.
