UPDATE: Victim of West Norriton fire identified
Melissa Mulhatten, 53, was killed in Tuesday's fire
According to The Times Herald, West Norriton police have tentatively identified the victim of the fire at 314 Norris Hall Lane in West Norriton on Tuesday as Melissa Mulhatten, 53. Mulhatten, who was unemployed, had been staying with her sister, Cynthia Shearer, at her Norris Hall Lane home.
Delays in identifying Mulhatten were a result of police attempts to notify her family. A positive identification will come following a full autopsy. A ruling on the cause of the fire is expected then, as well.
