Officer Troy Nicholson was off duty when he died. Coworkers described a consummate professional who was "compassionate and gentle."
UPPER MERION, PA — A 32-year-old Upper Merion police officer died off duty over the weekend, local officials confirmed. An exact cause of death was not immediately released by police.
Officer Troy Nicholson was described by coworkers as a consummate professional who was “compassionate and gentle.”
Nicholson was hired in 2017. He also served in nearby Royersford and Amity.
