Victim Trapped in Car After Accident Rescued in Norristown: Officials

Emergency crews rescued a victim who was trapped inside of their car after an accident early Friday morning.

NORRISTOWN, PA -- Emergency crews rescued a victim who was trapped inside a car after an accident early Friday morning, authorities confirmed.

Fire crews responded to the scene of an accident near the intersection of Brown Street and Powell Street in the early morning hours, according to the Norristown Professional Firefighters Local 2335.

A gray four-door sedan was on its side after losing control and crashing, authorities said. Only one car was involved in the accident.

Crews stabilized the vehicle, cut open the windshield, and rescued the person inside.

No other injuries were reported.
