VIDEO: Elmwood Zoo Critters Frolic In Snow, Make 'Race Track'

NORRISTOWN, PA -- Zoo residents seemed to enjoy being stuck in the snow a bit more than Norristown residents.

Red pandas and otters took full advantage of the changing conditions, frolicking about in the powder, racing through the icy water, and playing hide and seek in snow-drifts.

“Our red pandas and otters frolic and play the Eskimo way,” zoo administrators said. “They very much enjoyed their winter wonderland this weekend.”

In the second video, red pandas Slash and Shredder seem to have created a race track for each other, dashing around the perimeter of their enclosure with abandon.
