Watch: Rudy Giuliani Visits Montgomery County Monday

Rudy Giuliani campaigned for Donald Trump in Montgomery County on Tuesday and had high praise for a local pizza joint.

Former New York City Mayor and presidential candidate Rudy Giuliani was in Montgomery County on Monday for a Donald Trump rally at the Collegeville Italian Bakery on Ridge Pike.

Giuliani, who had high praise for the Bakery's pizza, was joined by Pennsylvania State Rep. Mike Vereb and local police chiefs. He said that event resulted in "big crowds and great enthusiasm" for Trump.

Throughout the Trump campaign, Giuliani has consistently been a supporter, even as other notable figures in the Republican party have been unwilling to back the nominee.

"Give me a slice of that Neopolitan pizza," Giuliani , 72, said at the bakery. "That thin crust pizza is top notch...That's my expert opinion."

The Bakery said it was "an honor to host "America's Mayor." Giuliani was also at Edge Graphics on Clement Drive in Collegeville during his swing through Montgomery County.

His schedule Monday then took him to rallies in Hazelton and Scranton.

Giuliani was Mayor of New York City from 1994 until 2001. He gained international attention and became known as "America's Mayor" after the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001. He ran for president in 2008 but was defeated by John McCain in the Republican primaries.

According to NBC News, he is being considered for a Cabinet position should Trump win the Presidency on Tuesday.
