WATCH: Thousands Of Eagles Fans Board Train In Norristown

Norristown was a major transportation hub Thursday morning for thousands of Eagles fans heading to the Super Bowl victory parade.

NORRISTOWN, PA — As Eagles fans from around the region flooded into Philadelphia early Thursday morning for the Eagles Super Bowl victory parade, the Norristown train stations served as one of their busiest hubs.

Norristown's Elm Street station and the Transportation Center are two of the few Regional Rail stations along the Manayunk-Norristown line that remained open for the morning's limited and altered schedule, meaning that thousands flooded into the borough on a morning that was evocative of the Pope Francis visit in 2015.

A cool time lapse video provided by the Norristown Fire Department shows the legions of crowds coming along the platform and cramming into the trains.
