Water Main Break on Egypt Road at Willowbrook

A geyser erupted on Egypt Road just before 1 p.m. today after PECO crews working in the area hit a water main according to a source on the scene.

American Water crews were dispatched to help redirect traffic and help stop the flow of water. According to sources on the scene, no one was injured.

Workers refused to comment on the cause of the accident or whether area residents' service was interrupted.
