Water Main Break Shoots Into The Air In King Of Prussia

KING OF PRUSSIA, PA — Water soared high into the sky when a main broke in King of Prussia Thursday morning.

A construction crew hit a main at around 8:15 a.m. near Moore Road and 8th Avenue, according to 6ABC.

The resulting geyser-like burst of water shot high into the sky, as thousands of gallons of water were let loose.

Video from the scene showed a steady plume of water firing out of a rectangular hole in the road as crews blocked off the road and surrounded the scene.

Utility crews have responded and are working on the issue, Fox29 reports.

It's not yet clear how many residents will have their service affected by the break.
