A new crime mapping system tracks reported incidents, block by block, throughout Norristown.
Dozens of crimes have been reported in Norristown over the past week, according to a community service that track reported incidents.
A total of 55 crimes were tracked by CrimeMapping.com for the period between July 21 and July 27.
Much of the crime seemed focused on Dekalb Street between Main Street and Elm Street.

- 18 drug and alcohol violations
- 5 vandalism reports
- 6 assaults
- 8 theft and larceny reports, including 4 on the 700 block of DeKalb Street
- 4 motor vehicle thefts
- 2 weapons violations
- 3 burglaries
- 2 reports of disturbing the peace
