Winter's Sleep animal program for children on Nov. 11th at Norristown Farm Park
Children ages 3 and up (with an adult) will learn about the winter habits of our local animals with a lesson, a story, and a themed craft.
Winter’s Sleep:
Take a ‘first look’ at the winter habits of our local animals. They either migrate, stay active, become dormant, or hibernate. You may be surprised to learn that very few actually hibernate. We’ll cover mammals, birds, reptiles & amphibians. Hear a story about animals getting ready for winter and make a chipmunk craft. Meet at the park office. Ages:
