Woman Flown To Hospital After Crash In Trappe
Two people were injured, one of them seriously, after a crash in Trappe on Sunday morning, authorities said.

TRAPPE, PA — One woman was seriously injured after a crash in Trappe on Sunday morning, authorities said.
The incident occurred at around 7:09 a.m. on West Main Street near the First Avenue intersection.
The victim was driving westbound in an SUV when it hit a utility pole, police said.

The driver was able to get out of the car without help and only had minor injuries, but the passenger was trapped inside the car for around 30 minutes as first repsonders use a variety of tools to free her, accordng to the Trappe Fire Company No. 1.
The trapped passenger was taken by Penn Star 4 medical helicopter to Penn Presbyterian Trauma Center in Philadelphia.

Main Street was closed Sunday for about 90 minutes.
Pennsylvania State Police are investigating the incident.
