Woman Who Kidnapped Baby At KOP Mall Sentenced

The suspect said she had lost a child recently and that she just "wanted my baby."

KING OF PRUSSIA, PA — A woman accused of kidnapping a baby at the King of Prussia Mall last year has been sentenced to seven years in prison, according to court documents.

Cheri Amoore, 33, of Tredyffrin, was convicted on counts of kidnapping and child concealment in March, documents show.

The incident occurred on March 31, 2016, at the mall's food court after Amoore had befriended the woman who was the mother of a 7-week-old infant boy, authorities said.
