Franklin Park Seeks Residents for Environmental Advisory Committee

Franklin Park seeks interested candidates to serve on the
Environmental Advisory Committee. Franklin Park has an active Environmental Advisory Council (EAC), an advisory body to Borough Council. The committee meets monthly to discuss and comment on pending developments, environmental issues, comprehensive plan updates, zoning and subdivision ordinance revisions, and other matters such as updating local environmental inventories and assessments.

The committee advises the borough's planning commission and council and is composed of borough residents. Seven members are appointed by council for a three-year term. Meetings are 7:30 p.m. the first Tuesday of each month.

Interested residents should submit a letter of interest and/or resume to the Franklin Park Borough Manager, 2344 West Ingomar Road, Pittsburgh PA 15237.
