Take Your TV on the Road This Holiday Season

Download popular content to your smartphone or tablet and watch whenever and wherever you like.

Holiday travel just got a little easier for Comcast customers. The free Xfinity TV Player App now allows customers who subscribe to SHOWTIME®, STARZ, ENCORE or MOVIEPLEX to download movies to their mobile devices or laptops. This is perfect for traveling by trains, planes or automobiles and to keep the kids busy at Grandma’s house.

Download kids’ movies like The Muppets, Finding Nemo and Cars 2. For adults, a wide-selection of movies is available for download along with TV series like Homeland, Dexter, and Boss.

The app still allows customers to stream more than 18,000 On Demand choices as well, but the download option is a great for those times when a reliable WiFi connection won’t be available. Verizon Wireless customers with 4G LTE get the added benefit of downloading and streaming over their cellular network.

And for those who aren’t traveling far, Comcast provides plenty of options for holiday entertainment right at home.

The traditional Yule Log is available to help set the scene for holiday parties, along with other seasonal images like the Rockefeller tree and Santa on Radar. Get them at On Demand for your TV at Xfinity On Demand>Top Picks, for your computer at Xfinity.com/TV, and for the first time on mobile devices through the Xfinity TV Player app.
