Election 2012 North Allegheny Results: Matzie Defeats Coder for PA House Seat
The incumbent from Ambridge wins in the 16th District by a margin of 56 to 44 percent.

In addition to selecting a President, a U.S. Senator, a member of Congress, state auditor general, treasurer and attorney general, residents of North Allegheny communities also selected a legislator to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives.
The North Allegheny communities are served by two state House districts.

Democrat incumbent Robert Matzie of Ambridge defeated Republican Kathleen Coder of Bellevue.

District 28
Incumbent Republican Mike Turzai of Bradford Woods, who was unopposed in the spring primary, also faced no challenger on the ballot in this general election and was re-elected.
He was first elected in 2000 and served as House Majority leader for the 2011-2012 legislative session.
