Franklin Park Reschedules Trick or Treating, Again
Franklin Park Council President admits many residents complained about the proposed afternoon trick or treating.

Franklin Park Borough Council has decided to push back Halloween trick or treating to 6 - 8 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 3.
"Initially, we had rescheduled trick-or-treating to take place during the afternoon hours on Saturday, November 3rd," said Amy E. Sable, Franklin Park Borough Council President. "However, in response to many e-mails and phone calls received from Borough residents expressing dissatisfaction with the afternoon hours, Council and the Mayor have decided to once again reschedule the trick-or-treat hours.  The new time for trick-or-treating in the Borough of Franklin Park will be Saturday, November 3rd from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m."
With the change, now all North Allegheny communities; McCandless, Marshall Township, and Bradford Woods will host trick or treating at the same time, and on the same date.
