When/Where: 1 p.m. Saturday, March 2 at Soergel's Orchards, 2573 Brandt School Road.
Why Go:  Learn the ins-and-outs of the proper pruning of trees and shrubs from Soergel Orchards experts who prune more than 5,000 trees annually. Following a pruning overview, groups will focus on trees or shrubs and greenery.Â

Admission: Free. Participants are encouraged to bring photos of their plants for pruning advice. No registration is required.Â

Beatlemania Magic
When/Where: 8 p.m. Saturday, March 2 at the Kean Theatre, 5847 Meridian Road in Gibsonia (Richland Township).
Why Go: Beatlemania Magic, a national touring Beatles tribute band, will recreate the early Beatles concerts with identical costumes, equipment and spot-on harmoniesÂ

Maple Sugaring Celebration and Pancake Breakfast
When/Where: 8:30 a.m. to noon Saturday at Fern Hollow Nature Center, 1901 Glen Mitchell Road, Sewickley Heights.
Why Go: Enjoy a breakfast of traditional or buckwheat pancakes, sausage and a drink. Learn the traditions and history of maple sugaring. Children’s activites, raffles and more.

Lego Robotics Demo
When/Where: 2:30 p.m. Saturday, March 2 at Northland Public Library, 300 Cumberland Road.
Why Go:  Each year, more than 20,000 teams worldwide build and program a Lego-based robot to autonomously complete a number of missions on a table. Come learn more about Lego Robotics and the first Lego League, a robotics contest for ages 9-14.Â

Lycoming College Tour Choir Concert
When/Where: 7 p.m. Saturday, March 2 at North Hills Community Baptist Church, 7801 Thompson Run Road.
Why Go: Conducted by Dr. Fred Thayer, the Lycoming College Choir will perform a special concert. The choir’s repertoire consists of both religious and secular music, ranging from contemporary to traditional.
Admission: Free. Childcare is provided for ages 3 and under.
