Traffic Alert: Section of Peebles Road to Close for Drainage Improvements
The work will occur between Hemlock Drive and Presidential Drive.
PennDOT contractors, weather permitting, will begin drainage improvement along a section of Peebles Road in McCandless starting Tuesday, Nov. 27.
Peebles Road between Hemlock Drive and Presidential Drive will be closed to thru-traffic long-term starting at 7 a.m. Tuesday through early January. The roadway will remain open for local traffic only.

About 3,228 vehicles use this section of Peebles Road on an average day, according to PennDOT.
PennDOT’s contractor for the work is Allison Park Contractors, Inc. of Allison Park, PA.
