Travel Film Series at Northland

In
the tradition of Oktoberfest, this month we will be cruising down the Rhine and
Danube Rivers.  In Cologne, we'll make a stop at Germany's most visited
landmark, the Cathedral of Cologne where the Shrine of the Three Kings is
located. We'll also tour a chocolate factory.  As we travel down the
Rhine we'll see many castles as well as The Lorelei Rock, the subject of
various folklore.  In Strasbourg, we'll see a 14th century astronomical
clock and get cuckoo for clocks in Breisach, on the edge of the Black
Forest.  As we travel past Melk, we'll tour its castle that is famous for
the truly magnificent Benedictine Abbey.  Along the way of these many
interesting sites, we'll also be making quick stops at Vienna, Budapest and
Bratislava.  So come join the tour at Northland Library. No reservation is required and refreshments
