4 Christmas Movies at Newtown Theater This Week

If you’re in the mood for a good Christmas movie, you can find them on the big screen this week in Newtown.

The Newtown Theatre’s annual Christmas movie series is underway. Four movies are planned this week.

Here is the schedule:

• “It’s a Wonderful Life” – Sunday, Dec. 13 at 3 p.m.
• “White Christmas” – Tuesday, Dec. 15 at 7 p.m.
• “National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation” – Wednesday, Dec. 16 at 7 p.m.
• “A Christmas Story” – Thursday, Dec. 17 at 7 p.m.

As in the past, each patron who brings a canned or non-perishable food item to a Christmas movie will receive half-price admission. All food will be donated to local food pantries.

The Newtown Theatre is located at 120 N. State Street, Newtown.
