5/2/15 Council Rock Orchestra Festival in Holland

Parents, friends, and the community are invited to enjoy a great night of orchestral music played by some of the best orchestras in Pennsylvania. You will not believe the beautiful sounds of the groups – you will think you are at the Kimmel Center listening to the Philadelphia Orchestra! There is nothing better for a student performer than to play for a large audience in an impressive performance hall.
Three expert judges will be listening and writing comments for each orchestra. Trophies will be awarded for all high school orchestras in the categories of “Good,” “Very Good,” “Outstanding,” and “Superior.” To make things fun, awards will also be given for “Best Violin Section,” “Best Viola Section,” “Best Cello Section,” “Best Bass Section,” “Best Woodwind Section,” “Best Brass Section,” “Best Percussion Section,” and “Best Soloist.”
Dinner fare (pizza, hot dogs, chili, pretzels, yogurt, fruit and snacks) will be available for sale, so bring your appetites, too!
