Aggravated Assault Reported on Woodland Drive

On Sunday, July 8 officers responded to a report of aggravated assault on Woodland Drive in Holland, according to police.

Around 9:45 p.m., officers from the responded to a reported stabbing on the 100 block of Woodland Drive, a police blotter from July 11 stated.

When the officers arrived they located a 44-year-old male stabbing victim at a home on Woodland Drive, where the man had sought refuge after having been stabbed in a neighboring home on the same street. The victim was found to have a lower abdominal stab and was transported to Abington Memorial Hospital for treatment.

The victim told officers that the person who had stabbed him was still at the home where the incident had occurred. Officers proceeded to that home on the 100 block of Woodland Drive to find that male also had injuries. He was transported to the Saint Mary Medical Center for treatment.

The investigation into the circumstances of the stabbing is ongoing.
