Almshouse Road to Remain Closed Friday for Pipe Installation
PennDOT and Bucks County Maintenance crews are replacing a deteriorated drainage pipe under Almshouse Road.
Almshouse Road at Hatboro and Jacksonville roads in Northampton Township will remain closed Friday for the replacement of deteriorated drainage pipes, according to PennDOT.
The closure will be in place from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. The road was also closed Thursday for the pipe replacement.
During construction, Almshouse Road through traffic will be detoured over Jacksonville Road, Bristol Road and Hatboro roads. Local access will be maintained up to the construction zone, PennDOT said.
PennDOT and Bucks County Maintenance crews are working to replace a deteriorated drainage pipe under Almshouse Road that caused a depression to form in the road.
