A new Abington Health Foundation Women’s Board fundraising event drew in many new faces from the community. On March 31, 2012, the Strictly Speaking Speaker Series debuted with a not-to-be-missed appearance by Robert K. Wittman, FBI Special Agent (retired), founder of the FBI National Art Crime Team, and author of Priceless, a real life international thriller. The evening had many parts, beginning with a wine tasting and food pairing and ending with an after-program dessert reception and book signing. But the heart of the event was Bob Wittman’s presentation - equal parts spellbinding and entertaining. He had the audience in the palm of his hand as he shared incredible exploits in solving some of the most notorious art thefts of our time. A premier undercover agent, he worked dangerously and brilliantly to preserve history, and on March 31st, he shared his secrets with a captivated crowd. Be on the lookout for future Strictly Speaking events.
