Annual Halloween Happening is Oct. 25

The 38th annual Halloween Happening will be held Oct. 25 at the Northampton Recreation Center on Newtown-Richboro Road.

The event includes a costume contest, a parade, balloons, face painting, treat bags and more. Costume registration begins at 11 a.m. The parade kicks off at noon.

Costumes are judged in the following categories:

• 2 years and younger
• Ages 3-5
• Ages 6-8
• Ages 9-12
• Family Group
