Bucks Congressman Will Attend Unveiling Of Bipartisanship Index

A new Bipartisan Index that judges how successful Congressmen are in working across party lines will be attended by Bucks and Montgomery Counties’ U.S. Congressman Mike Fitzpatrick, according to a press release.

The new index measures how often a member of Congress introduces bills that succeed in attracting co-sponsors from members of the other party, and how often they in turn co-sponsor a bill introduced from across the aisle.

“The Index will serve as a critical resource for voters and the media,” a press release for the unveiling states.

It was created through a partnership between the Lugar Center and Georgetown University’s McCourt School of Public Policy.
