Bucks County Housing Group and HealthLink Dental Clinic are Winners in Rotary Club of Central Bucks Raffle Drawing
Both organizations received $3,000 donations in support of their missions
The Rotary Club of Central Bucks held a raffle in December and January to benefit Bucks County Housing Group and HealthLink Dental Clinic. 1,000 tickets were available for purchase for $50 each. The grand prize, a Caribbean cruise or San Francisco/Napa Valley, Calif. vacation (courtesy of Jet Set Travels, Southampton, Pa.) or $5,000 cash, was won by Ellen Dodel. Second Prize, $1,000 cash, was won by Ken McDaid and third prize, $500 cash, was won by Michelle Cascerceri.
The raffle kicked off in December with a Pub Walk and caroling by Rotary Club of Central Bucks members at spirited establishments in Doylestown. On Sunday, January 17, more than 50 Rotarians and guests turned out for the raffle drawing and celebration at Carmel Kitchen (Shops at Valley Square), 1613 Main Street, Warrington, PA 18976. The event was hosted by Rotarians Rick James and Steve Mazzo.
The Rotary Club of Central Bucks Foundation Raffle was subject to contest rules set forth on each entry certificate. Winners are responsible for all applicable sales and income tax. The Rotary Club of Central Bucks Foundation is a non-profit, 50 I (c) (3) organization. Rotary Pub Walk
Members of the Rotary Club of Central Bucks took to the local pubs for holiday caroling and to sell raffle tickets for the January 17 drawing. Proceeds from the raffle drawing were donated to Bucks County Housing Group and HealthLink Dental Clinic.
