Bucks County Recruitment Website Hosting Career Fair

RecruitmentQueen.com, a Bucks County-based recruitment website, is holding a career fair next month at Sheraton Hotel-Bucks County.

The career fair, to be held Sept. 9 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., will feature employment opportunities in both the general, as well as the health care fields, according to Jennifer Schultz, RecruitmentQueen.com CEO and president.

Schultz said she expects as many as 80 employers and 500 to 900 job seekers to attend the fair. Employers are not required to be located in Bucks County, but Schultz said jobs must be close enough that Bucks County residents could make the commute.

On the health care floor, job seekers will be able to meet employers and learn about various openings in companies ranging from Ashfield Healthcare, Fox Subacute Care, Comfort Keepers and Pennswood Village, among others. On the general employment floor, the Advertising Specialty Institute, Fred Beans Family of Dealerships, J.F. Sobieski and the The First National Bank and Trust Co. of Newtown will be on hand.

“We’re trying to get a lot more retail also. So many companies really hire late September or early October for the holiday season,” Schultz said, adding that career opportunities are for all levels. “The goal is to bring as many people in as possible and get as many people hired as possible.”

In addition to being able to meet employers, the fair will include breakout sessions on topics like health care reform and LinkedIn profile tips. A professional photographer will be on hand to take complimentary LinkedIn photos for jobseekers profile photos.

The BIG! Bucks County career fair will be held at the Sheraton Hotel-Bucks County, 400 Oxford Valley Road in Langhorne on Sept. 9 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
