Building a Village for Bucks County's OWN Renaissance Faire on Sept 19 & 20
Volunteers filled grounds to build pavilions, sets, games and more as the 16th Village Renaissance Faire will again bring History to Life
Simply amazing...thats all that can be said about what the Wrightstown Library’s 16th Village Renaissance Faire has become and that is due to the generosity of model partners like the Middletown Grange that donates the fairgrounds and scores of volunteers that perform so admirably that no-one can believe the VIllage Faire is run by and for a public library, but it is.
Volunteers from through-out the county and even farther, spirit filled the grounds and took advantage of the few breaks in the rain to start moving its 9 stages, setting up its 20 games, and its dozens of free children’s activities, as well as the Visual Artisans Realm, not to mention spaces for 40 merchants, 700 square foot living history exhibition, and 10 food venues for the attendees to explore and enjoy next week. There is time, there is dedication, and there is desire it attend, so it will get done. “We always accomplish our MUST DO list, and some of our WISH list.” Hone says with a proud smile. ” And what is amazing is that guests, merchants, and performers, constantly tell us, that they are amazed how we always add something new each year, and they are eager to see what we have done.”
Whether its your first trip, or your 16th, as many can proudly say, A good time will be had by all.”
