The annual plant sale returns on Saturday, May 2, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. (or until sold out) at the Middletown Grange Fairgrounds, 576 Penns Park Road, Newtown. Rain or shine.
The sale features a wide selection of annuals, perennials, vegetables, herbs, native plants, deer-resistant plants, container plants, and hanging baskets for Mother’s Day.
Shoppers are encouraged to bring wagons or carts. Cash, checks, and credit cards accepted. No dogs allowed.
More than 80 Master Gardeners will be on hand to answer gardening questions.
Proceeds support community gardening education programs, demonstration gardens, and donations of fresh produce to local food pantries.
