Driver Crashes Into Gas Pump, Injuring One In Richboro

A driver crashed into a gas pump at the Speedway station in Richboro, injuring a person who was fueling up Thursday, Northampton Township Police Chief Michael Clark said.

According to Clark, the driver hit a pump, which then struck a person who was pumping gas. The person hit was knocked to the ground and witnesses began CPR, Clark said.

"The CPR was continued by our officers until the person was transported to St Mary’s Hospital by Tri-Hampton rescue Squad," Clark said.

The condition of the victim is not currently known.

Clark said he believes the person driving was not injured.
