The Council Rock School District is seeking the public’s input on a draft of its Comprehensive Plan.
Comprehensive Planning, a Pennsylvania Department of Education requirement, is aimed to set priorities and establish goals, as well as create an action plan for a three-year period of time, district officials explain.
The Comprehensive Plan draft Council Rock has prepared is for 2016-2019. The School Board will be voting on the plan at its Nov. 19 meeting.

“Your input is welcome and encouraged, as we look to provide the best opportunities for our students and how those opportunities will have a positive impact on student learning,” the district announced on its website.
According to officials, a team of 48 people created the plan draft. That team was made up of teachers, administrators, parents, community members and business leaders.
