CPCU Fire Safety Winners Recognized Dec. 20th at Northampton

Contest winners receive Citations from elected officials for their winning efforts

The twelve Council Rock School District elementary school students who won the 2017 CPCU/Council Rock Fire Safety in the Home Contest were honored at the December 20th Northampton Township Board of Supervisors meeting. The students received Citations from Municipal, State and Congress officials. Presenting on behalf of Congressman Brian Fitzpatrick was staffer Nick Maleczkowicz, Northampton Supervisor Chairman Barry Moore presented for Northampton Township, Newtown Township Supervisor Chairman Kyle Davis presented for both Newtown Township and Newtown Borough, State Representative Perry Warren presented for himself and Representative Scott Petri while State Senator Tommy Tomlinson presented for himself and Senator Chuck McIlhinney. Pete Palestina was contest coordinator and MC and Philadelphia CPCU President Pat Riley called the names of each of the 12 winning students.
