Cubs Win Spring-Summer James E. Kinney Senior Center Billiards Championship

Team Cubs won the Spring-Summer League Billiards Championship on September 21st during the tournament held at the James E. Kinney Senior Center.

The Cubs were captained by Tom Girtman and beat the Phillies captained by Don Byers in the final best of three round 2-1

League Commissioner Pete Palestina said the regular season league play started on April 27th and concluded September 14th after 75 games were played by each team prior to the playoffs for the championship.

The Fall-Winter league will begin play on September 28th and players had until September 21st to sign up. The league plays on Mondays unless there is a holiday closing in which case the game that week will be played on a Tuesday.
