Editorial: Resident Hopes Promised Change is What's to Come

In an editorial on phillyburbs.com, local Edward Farling fills in some of the changes he'd like to see in the Northampton Township government.

The in November was nothing short of monumental for Northampton Township, which means the expectations among residents are even greater as well.

In a commentary on phillyburbs.com, Holland resident Edward Farling said he hopes everything that was promised is executed – and done in the best interest of the community being served.

"I hope that we do see a better Northampton from this change in leadership," the commentary said.

Some of the changes he said he hopes to see are the supervisors working as a team and healing deep fissures that have caused severe disagreements in the past, increased transparency and readily available documents on the township website, consideration of residents' taxes over honoring personal relationships for professional services and a continuation of the .
