General Information
- FOR CHILDREN AGES 16 and under. Adults do not have to sign up, yet must accompany children. ( ALL ADULTS WILL NEED A PERMIT TO FISH, HOWEVER NO PERMIT IS REQUIRED FOR ANY ADULT ASSISTING A CHILD) No experience necessary . Expert fishermen from Langhorne Rod Club will be on hand to provide great tips on fishing success.
- Each child will receive an official fishing derby kit, one cup of bait, soda and a soft pretzel.
- Children should bring their own fishing pole and must be accompanied by an adult.
- A fishing license is required for any adult who will be fishing that day.
- Prizes for largest fish will be awarded in the following age categories:
- 5 yrs. & under , Ages 6 - 8 , Ages 9 - 12, Ages 13 - 16 Big Fish of the Day.
- Test your ability in the Casting Contest .
- Awards at Noon.
