Have fun learning the basic skills necessary to safely run a sewing machine: proper threading, bobbin winding, forward and reverse stitching with speed control.

- Various stitches and techniques will be introduced.
- Special items will be constructed daily to reinforce what is taught.
- Bring your own sewing machine or request one at time of registration.
- A skill learned today used throughout a lifetime.
- Previous students welcome: Refresh your skills with new projects or learn the basics of a pattern.
- Participants will experience a great sense of accomplishment. Hand - sewing stitches will also be introduced.

- Early Registration Savings – ERS Northampton Residents registering at least one week prior will pay the Early Registration Savings Fee (ERS). Mail in registrations must be postmarked at least one week prior to the start of the class in order to receive this savings.
