Your young scientist will love this chemistry camp! Delve into the mysteries of science doing cool experiments under the supervision of a chemistry teacher. Goggles will be provided by the teacher. Campers will get hands-on experience using laboratory tools, measuring devices, safety equipment, a microscope and safe household chemicals. Activities include: polymer properties, "bobbing bugs", acid-base reactions, chemical volcanoes, and many more. Participants will bring home a chemistry equipment kit, a certificate of accomplishment, and recipes that will allow them to recreate these "wacky experiments" at home. Bring a friend and don’t miss this VERY POPULAR science enrichment program. Campers are requested to bring a snack and an old shirt.
