Flag Dedication Holland Middle School Nov. 17, 2014

Below is a photo of the Nov. 17, 2014 flag dedication and raising at the Holland Middle School conducted by the Patriot Detachment 1230 Marine Corps League on behalf of TCEF (The Community Excellence Foundation). Ed Radlow of the Foundation gave introductory remarks and Pete Palestina of the Marine Corps League Patriot Detachment gave the keynote address. This particular flag was dedicated to the memory of Army Master Sgt. Kenneth Elwell, a Northampton resident and former Council Rock student, who was killed in action in Afghanistan on July 17, 2011. Ken’s sister Susan Elwell Burkhard was in attendance on behalf of the Elwell family as well as Supt. of Schools Mark Klein and Holland Middle School Principal Dan Greenland.
