Fun Fest Friday For 300th Anniversary Northampton Township Celebration

NORTHAMPTON TOWNSHIP, PA —It will definitely be a fun-filled Friday in the township.

Friday Fun Fest takes place from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the Civic Center Basin as part of the township's 300th Anniversary festivities.

The free family event features local music including the Matt Freedman Band and Rae Radick, food trucks, local craft breweries, craft vendors, games and mini golf.

Local craft brews will be available for sale to anyone age 21 or older with the purchase of a wristband, the parks and recreation department said.

Bring a chair or blanket as seating is on the grass. No outside food or coolers are allowed. All ages are welcome at the event, which takes place at the civic center on 475-Newtown-Richboro Road in Richboro.

The parks department requests to register for the event in an effort to ease parking and crowd flow. Residents can register for a discounted wristband for those over age 21 who may drink "spirited brews and beverages."

• Pre-event Wristbands are $15. That includes ID at the Brew Tent Entrance along with a swag bag with one designated drink wristband, a special edition 300th Anniversary Commemorative glass and five free “take a taste first before you buy” tickets.
• As a safety incentive, designated drivers receive a free wristband with your purchase which will allow them to enter a special VIP area to get free water and snacks. (Note: They will not be allowed to enter the “ spirited area”. Please enter the person's name when you register for your wristband.)
• Full-size brews will be available for sale at each vendor at an additional price.
• You MUST be 21 yrs. or older to register to enter the Brew Tent and will be asked to show a VALID ID proof to enter.
• A limited number of “Day of” WRISTBANDS will be sold at the event for $ 20, so buy early to receive a $5 savings!
