The basketball court isn't just for the youngsters anymore thanks to the Northampton Parks and Recreation Department's Over 30 Basketball League.
Players over 28 years old with a competitive spirit are invited to join the league, which plays Tuesday and Wednesday nights at tonight through July 27. The first game will start at 7:30 each night and games will run until about 11:00.
After the regular season, the top eight teams will compete in playoffs and the championship game will be August 10. Join as a team or an individual and teams will be coordinated for you.

Those interested in joining the league can sign up online. The cost is $70 for residents and $80 for non-residents. Also, a one-time $20 fee will be requested upon receival of the jersey. Returning players don't need to purchase one.
