Hillcrest Elementary School PTO Under Investigation: Report

The Hillcrest Elementary School’s PTO is under investigation for possible misappropriation of funds, according to reports.

The Bucks County Courier Times reports that the school’s PTO sent a mass email to the school community confirming the investigation by the Bucks County District Attorney.

The PTO said in the email it suspects “that there might be problems with our financial records and felt it necessary to reach out to law enforcement,” the email said.

“We have discovered that some of the account funds were not used for PTO purposes,” the email continued.

Hillcrest Elementary, located in Northampton Township, is in the Council Rock School District.
