Holland Middle School Renovations Topic Of Thursday Meeting
The public hearing for Holland Middle renovations will be held Thursday at the Chancellor Center.

The Council Rock School District will hold two public hearings this Thursday.
The Act 34 hearings are part of the planning process for two school construction projects. Council Rock is planning to construct a new Newtown Middle School and complete renovations to Holland Middle School.
But first, the state-mandated Act 34 hearings must be held to inform the community about the project.

The Holland Middle School Act 34 hearing will begin at 6 p.m. at the Chancellor Center, 30 N. Chancellor Street.
“The purpose of the Hearing is to inform the residents of this school district of all relevant matters relating to planning, designing, acquiring, construction and furnishing of the proposed Holland Middle School Renovations and Additions,” the district announced on its website. The Holland Middle School renovation project is estimated to cost the district $52 million.

At 6:45, the Act 34 hearing for a new, $57 million Newtown Middle School will begin.
