Invitation to Hero’s Welcome Home

BUCKS County's David A. Christian is one of America's most decorated veterans of any war. His service in Vietnam earned him seven Purple Hearts, the Distinguished Service Cross, two Silver Stars, a Bronze Star, the Air Medal, the Combat Infantryman's Badge and two Vietnamese Crosses of Gallantry.

This American hero will be inducted into the National Military Officers Hall of Fame and there will be two local ceremonies honoring him. The first will be on Tuesday, May 2nd, 3:15 PM at the Bensalem Township Municipal Complex he will arrive by escort from the airport to the Bensalem Township Municipal Complex where there will be a Hero’s Welcome Home

Dave Christian was recently inducted into the National Military Hall of Fame and there will be a ceremony at West Point. On Tuesday, May 2nd he will arrive by escort from the airport to the Bensalem Township Municipal Complex, 2400 Byberry Rd, Bensalem where there will be a Hero’s Welcome Home celebration at 3:15PM. Later, on Saturday May 6th at 12PM, there will be a ceremony for him at the NAC in conjunction with the celebration of Armed Forces Day. That days event will be from 11AM to 3PM. This is a free event at the “Escape Resort” area of the NAC located 120 Pheasant Run, Newtown.
