Jacksonville Road To Be Repaved Starting Next Week
Repaving on Jacksonville Road in Northampton Township starts Monday.
Construction begins Monday on an improvement project to repair and resurface 12 miles of state highway in Bucks County, including Jacksonville Road in Northampton Township.
Additional state highways scheduled for resurfacing under this contract include:
- Route 263 between County Line Road and Tennyson Drive in Warminster Township.
- Bristol Road between 2nd Street Pike and Bristol Road in Upper Southampton, Northampton and Lower Southampton townships.
- Bristol Road between Buck Road and Bristol Road in Lower Southampton Township.
- Langhorne-Yardley Road between Stony Hill Road and Yardley-Newtown Road in Lower Makefield Township.
Under this improvement project, PennDOT said it plans to mill the existing roadway and repave it with new asphalt that will have a smoother riding surface.

Work on the entire project is expected to be completed in mid-November, state officials said. The contractor's schedule is dependent on the weather, PennDOT said.
The general contractor on the $4,403,892 project is Blooming Glen Contractors, Inc.
